Last weekend, I shared a couple of free events we participated in our hometown. While I enjoy reading posts from my favorite coupon/freebie blogs, like Freebies4Mom and Common Sense with Money, that offer plenty information about free events, I’d like to share more photos of other free activities to do with little ones.
Finding free events around our hometown have been helpful to get us out the house when the weather outside is doom and gloom. This is probably the best reason for signing up or stopping by.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, the theme of these events is all about love, hearts, and happiness – a complete opposite of doom and gloom, wouldn’t you say?
I must say that I wasn’t expecting an elaborate craft session, and it was a wonderful surprise to see the kids get creative with making their love monsters.
Barnes and Noble has been a long time favorite since Piano Man was a baby, and our family tradition to visit Barnes and Noble story time continues with both of our children.
If you’ve ever debated about attending one of these free events have no fear. They are a blast and encourage time to hang out with the family without having to break the bank. What other fun activities in your hometown do you like?
