Okay. I confess.
This year’s Halloween costumes aren’t really semi-homemade. But it’s the big reveal of what our boys will be for Halloween.
Are you ready?
Can you guess who they are?
I mean, yes, they resemble characters of the Star Wars franchise, but I had no clue as to their names or story lines (except for Qui-Gon Jinn). I don’t even know who the woman is supposed to be…
Piano Man picked Pre Vizsla, a bad guy. Piano Man also picked out Linus’ costume, but you’ll have to wait til Halloween. (I gotta keep some things a secret.)
Don’t get me wrong. I considered making their costumes, but I did my research. The amount of time, detail, and what’s already available was enough to say, “Store-bought, please!” And thanks to Amazon, I purchased those puppies over the summer. (Yes, you heard me. Summer. When I plan for Halloween, I don’t mess around.)
Actually, Barnes and Noble held a Star Wars event over the summer, and I thought the boys could get a little mileage about it; hence, you see Star Wars heroes standing next to younglings during a special story time event.
So where’s the semi-homemade part? Well, it’s coming. I thought I’d give you a preview of their costumes. I’m not making or buying a light saber or blaster. Too many pieces to the costume. Plus, their trick-or-treat bag is their accessory. I plan on making a Pre Vizsla jet pack. I’ll probably make one for Linus too. Because if big bro gets a jet pack, so does little bro.
