This week, I’ve got a special treat. I’m sharing two more throw pillow remakes for your viewing enjoyment.
Remember the yellow Moroccan print throw pillow I made? All made from remnant 1/2 yard of fabric.
Well, I’ve got two more lovely throw pillows that coordinates well with this print.
When Prof and I first got married, teal and brown were all the rage. From couches, flooring, and even strollers to car seats, teal and brown were used to decorate everything… Well, we jumped on the teal and brown bandwagon and received some lovely brown and teal throw pillows as a wedding gift.
Nearly a decade later, they are flat pretty gross looking play objects for our boys.
It was time for an update. For the financially frugal and budget conscious, you can purchase a remnant piece from Joann Fabric and Craft Stores, like the one you see below.
To get started, first, I had to strategically decide where to place the floral design. I chose a center placement.
Which meant, I needed to do a little measuring….
8.5 inches in width…okay got it!
Sew all four sides, stuff, and….
Voila! Project complete!
Making throw pillows from remnant fabric is so fun! I’ve got one more to show that will complete this look. It’s up next!
