Hometown Betty aims to share culture and creativity from a Korean-American perspective. The blog focuses on building cultural awareness outside of our local community through different craft and design mediums. It also shares personal life reflections and travel posts.
The author/owner reserves the right to edit, delete, or not publish any comment. Comments intending to advertise or spam will be deleted. The author/owner also reserves the right to block commenter(s) who have previously published offensive comments or spam.
We are all here to share our thoughts with one another, but we want this site to be at a place where we can all be respected and heard on the blog. Thoughtful criticism is respected, but words used to hurt someone in a malicious way will not be tolerated.
All text, images, and other content materials in the blog, Hometown Betty, are property of the author, unless otherwise noted or linked. You may not duplicate, copy, or reproduce any photographs, articles, or material on this blog without written permission of the author.
Third Party Links
Occasionally, at the author’s discretion, third party products or services may be posted on this website or link to other sites. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. Therefore, the author has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, if there is any question in regards to the integrity of our site and the author welcomes any feedback about these sites.
Ads and Affiliate Networks
The blog also hosts Google Ads and BlogHer Ads (and potentially other ad networks in the future) in the right side bar, as well as the top and middle of the main page and regular posts. Hometown Betty also hosts affiliate links from CJ and Amazon Associates (and potentially other ads/affiliates), which means that if you follow one of these links and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Of course, you are never obligated to make your purchase using my links, but please know that I will never share a product or service with you unless I truly believe it will benefit you, your business, and your customers and readers. Because ads come from Google and other affiliate networks, the author/owner does not have exclusive authority to choose ads. If you notice an inappropriate ad, please kindly let the author know. Research will be done to look into blocking that particular ad; but again, the author may not be able to have specific ads removed.
I offer for sale pdf files of certain tutorials. You can find all my templates for sale located in my shop.
PLEASE NOTE: All sales are final. After making a payment via PayPal through check out, you will receive an email confirmation of your payment. You will receive a second email with the link for your one-time downloadable pdf file. Please check your Spam Folder, as emails will be sent there.
As I began Hometown Betty, templates used to be free. I was just starting out. But costs to run the site are accumulating, so I am making this shop page to continue working on new tutorials and projects. Any purchases you make help me to continue running the site and to make more tutorials in the future. Thanks for your support!
