#TBT, It’s Throwback Thursday!
I’ve been cleaning up old files, and I ran across old images and handmade projects before I started Hometown Betty. Oh remember the day when LEGO Ninjago was popular? When we lived overseas, it wasn’t easy to find Ninjago birthday party supplies, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. I found images and made them into birthday cake toppers.
I tried to search for the original images, but the image links now send you to an inappropriate site. Boo. Thus I don’t have the image source to give the credit where credit is due. (However, if you know where the images are linked, please let me know. I will be more than happy to link them to the correct site.)
– Ninjago printable (See Step 1 for more information to obtain a copy.)
– blue, red, black, green, and white paper
Step 1. Download and print two copies of Ninjago characters (As always, if you would like a copy of the printable, please head over to Hometown Betty’s Facebook Page and hit the Like Button. Then send me a message to request a copy.)
Step 2. Cut out Ninjago characters.
Step 3. Fold paper over to make cake toppers two-sided. Glue Ninjago characters as seen in the image below:
Step 4. Cut around each character, creating a thin border.
Step 5. Repeat Steps 3-4 for other the four ninjas.
Step 6. Tape toothpick on the inside.
Step 7. Glue bottom.
Step 8. Voila! Project Complete!
Oh the days of Ninjago have morphed into Nindroids and Sensei Wu turning evil. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for those ninja heroes.
From my hometown to yours,
